New Distro worth a look: https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=blendos The new blendOS does look intriguing. It is aimed squarely at those that like to "distro-hop" constantly by offering every distro type in one easy to use OS. It does this with the use of an immutable file system and containers. I "feel" as though this is the future of operating systems: immutable file systems and containers. It's more stable, and I have to almost assume more secure due to its walled-off architecture. (I am willing to be proven wrong here though) Don't be put off, by the age of the Author Rudra Saraswat: https://blendos.co/future-of-blendos/ He has hands in many projects in Arch, and Ubuntu. https://about.ruds.io/ No matter how you feel about it, he has very impressive skills for a young man.
Ventoy is another option for people who like to try new distros. Just place the distro ISO file in a specific directory on your Ventoy drive (can be flash storage, if you like), then boot it. The idea of persistent storage is also provided with ventoy, so it is possible to have your HOME and an area for OS patches to be placed too. A few friends run their laptops only using Ventoy booted from USB flash storage. No internal SSD/HDD at all.
Oh! this is a new one to be explore with. I might try this Blend OS soon. It looks so cool in the eye. Regards and cheers.
