Why was my audio player post moved to a Linux Mint question?
The fact that I wrote it in the Linux Mint environment does not mean that it works only on this system. In Ubuntu it works just as well.
It has nothing from Linux Mint in it. Its appearance depends on the appearance of the operating system.

This is a wildly inappropriate sub-forum for asking why your post was moved, but rather than move it to the correct place, I'll answer you here, and then close the thread.

This is the Ubuntu forum, for (from the Code of Conduct), "The purpose of the Ubuntu Forums is to provide support for Ubuntu." The hint, perhaps surprisingly, is in the name. You are using Mint which, although based on Ubuntu is not Ubuntu, nor is it one of the official flavours. Mint has its own characteristics which is why we move Mint threads to a Mint sub-forum. Furthermore, your thread was not a request for support, rather you were asking whether you can promote your project here. I have answered you no in that thread and closed it, since it is not a technical support thread.
