Installed Lubuntu on 2007 iMac. The system runs well, but the audio is quite tinty sounding. In the adjustment of settings in Alsamixer I can get the audio to a better quality. But, when the volume is adjusted up/down Alsamixer resets and the audio is back to tinty. Is there a better way to save the settings in Alsamixer or another way altogether?
