    Question Downloading specific version of sudo 1.8.27

    I am trying to install older version SUDO But whenever i do sudo make install I get this error ,

    Sounds like you are using Kali (Not Ubuntu) and have messed with sudoers and botched the file

    Yes i am using kali .
    No LSB modules are available.Distributor ID: Kali
    Description: Kali GNU/Linux Rolling
    Release: 2022.2
    Codename: kali-rolling
    Linux kali 5.16.0-kali7-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 5.16.18-1kali1 (2022-04-01) x86_64 GNU/Linux

    In the most minimalistic way.
    We allow some support, but we draw the line at any of kali's cracking tools.
    We will not allow discussions about pentesting tools or cracking or tools used for cracking.

    But questions unrelated to using those tools are usually fair game.

    I downloaded the files for 1.8.26 version from here https://www.sudo.ws/getting/download/ then i ran this following command ./configure , make , then make install and it is getting while runnng make install i want to overwrite the current version of sudo
