It's located in a virtual file system. You should be able to access it via this network path from windows:
    Code:
    \\wsl$

    Re: windows ubuntu terminal

You can try editing your $PATH variable and remove the windows references.

    Code:
    export PATH="/home/$USER/.local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin"
It will overwrite the $PATH variable unless you log off.
