I have what I thought would be a simple request.... I want to click anywhere on the touchpad for left click (like a Mac). I've tried all the touchpad options in Ubuntu settings. I've tried all the touchpad options in Gnome Tweaks, but none of them do that. Some of them disable the right click (click on right corner of touchpad) from doing anything, but none of the options just make every click a left click. Using Lenovo T14 on Ubuntu 21.
In Gnome Tweaks, set "Mouse click emulation" on "Fingers". Then, right-click will be by double fingers, and else be a left click.
Doesn't work for me like that. Double fingers does a right click, but single click in the bottom right of the trackpad does nothing.
Yep, for me it does. It indeed depends on the hardware as well.
