    Can't remove old kernel

I think I have the same problem on my VPS instance; got the new kernel but the autoremove isn't removing the old one

Dont know what VPS is, but try this:
    Code:
    dpkg -l linux-* | awk '/^ii/{ print $2}' | grep -v -e `uname -r | cut -f1,2 -d"-"` | grep -e [0-3]| xargs sudo apt-get -y purge --dry-run
If your satisfied with the results remove the "---dry-run", then run again.
