Is it possible to connect WiFi via Ethernet

    Hi all,

My desktop PC doesn't have a WiFi card. It is connected to a WiFi router. Is it possible to connect WiFi via Ethernet?

    If YES, please advise HOW?

    Thanks

What does that even mean? What are you trying to do?

In any case, devices connected wired or wifi can connect to each other in normal ways.

    Hi all,

This is a Linux PC built by me, running for about 10 years. Windows 10 are running on VMs of Oracle VirtualBox, with Ubuntu 20.04 host. Some Windows applications need WiFi/bluetooth on. I just wonder whether I can make use of the WiFi router.

You will likely need a USB wifi adapter and have the VM allow Ubuntu control of it.
