I'm not saying that Edge is a "bad" browser. There is just no justification for me to use it on Linux.
However, if they paid me... I think I'd reconsider.

Brave pays people to look at ads, and it's a Chromium based browser, just like Edge.

I'm sure that there are people who either need or love Windows but nevertheless have a need or desire to run Linux. For them, WSL might be just the thing. It might also be useful for people on Windows who are curious about Linux.

I'm in the same boat. I am an Adobe user, and run a Windows 7 VM for InDesign. Photoshop and Illustrator run just fine in the VM as well.

That being said... Again, specifically with Linux, I can find no discernable reason to ever run Edge.

I think that all modern browsers give you the option to import passwords and bookmarks, to save you the hassle.

Oddly enough I just looked in chrome before logging into the forums here. Never saw it. Is an export button. I dumped them to a csv file. Makes life easy.

    Maybe i can escape...

If Edge works like all the others, the first time that you run it, it should offer to automatically import your data from Chrome — you wouldn't have to dump anything to a CSV file.

I don't even use Edge on Windows machines ...

I found it hard not to use Edge. Windows pushed it aggressively, and I had to turn it off repeatedly before I could use Chrome without hassle.

Edge isn't terrible, but I still use firefox on every platform that supports it.
