    Upgrade to 21.10

I saw that the new Ubuntu was available today an did create a usb iso, but then decided to use the terminal to upgrade. When I got to the point of decision the message was that "no new version was available". Since I knew that it was I used the -d to move ahead. Everything went just fine. I see no problems. Did take a little longer using terminal.

We get threads about this every 6 months. It's normal that it takes up to two weeks before the upgrade is released. Sometimes longer.

In the case of LTS releases it can be months before the upgrade option appears in in the update manager.

    Re: Upgrade to 21.10

Since version 8.10 I have always been able to move to the new version quite quickly. Upgrades used to be very haphazard i.e clean installs were much safer. In recent years upgrades work very well. Whatever's out there I have it.
