    Re: adding attachments

I created a snapshot of a small element on my desktop, did what I always do which is what 3nd did on his video and this is the result:

It wasn't always like this. In the past it did what QIII indicated above.

If there is a setting somewhere in my profile that controls this I don't know where it is.

It does the same with Firefox, Chromium, and Microsoft Edge.

I tested it with each one before I posted just in case it was browser dependent.

How about some more confusion .........

If I go to a much earlier post of mine where I attached a screenshot it looks exactly like yours: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread....0#post14038250

If I now attach the same saved screenshot today it looks like this:

Assuming you didn't change any settings, as I did not

    and

I tried Chrome, FF and Edge and each worked as I would expected

I suggest you check outside for black helicopters flying around your homes or black SUVs with government plates across the street.

No? Maybe not. I guess what I am really wondering right now is if there is some odd issue with Canonical's servers.

I often supply screenshots to help others since I'm not all that articulate. My posts are going to become comically large at this rate.

Here's an example of another users post that shows how out of control this can be: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2468013
