adding attachments

noticed the last 2 days that when i ( i see it in other users posts too) add an attachment ,the original pic plus the attachment would show up in a post. then i have to edit the original pic out .
i'm sure this wasn't the case before , only the attachment would show.
am i doing something wrong ?

In my opinion, just follow the instructions on the [IMG] Forum code. Just add some image forum code. see code below;

If you use the Forum's advanced editor, you can use the paperclip icon to attach screenshots or other info. Post #4 , also no larger than1024x768 if photo

Did you scale the picture down as oldfred suggested? Don't know if that would matter, since anything too large won't upload.
