Exclamation Why does the Rox package do this?

    package: rox-filer_2.11-1_i386.deb
    repository: trusty-tahr-universe
    file: /usr/share/rox/ROX/MIME/image-x-generic.png

There are many such images in directory.
All image thumbnails are this guy's eye if you don't overlay them with the actual image.

    What's the point?

Are there viruses in this file manager package?

Re: Why does the Rox package do this?

Standard support for all versions of Trusty ended in April. Many desktop flavors ended support in 2019 with no ESM available. Please use supported releases only.
If you have ESM support, please use those contacts for questions.

On 16.04-18.04 systems, use the ubuntu-support-status program to see the support status.
For 20.04 and later, use ubuntu-security-status.
