How to read .max files on Ubuntu

    Hi all,

Please advise how to read .max files? I found .max files on my old database. I suppose they were created running AutoCAD.

Do I need to install Freecad to read them? OR is there any way converting them to other formats which can be read in Ubuntu?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

FreeCAD, QCAD… there are multiple programs that can handle 2D files.

You may need to look at VariCAD then, or get an Autocad viewer and export the files to DXF or STP to make them more portable.
