is there any good documentation for sysfs?

    Hello all,

I'm looking for some decent documentation about sysfs, but unfortunately can't turn anything up. The man page is incomplete and even has one sentence that just stops half way through. I found the Linux kernel documentation for sysfs but unfortunately it's geared more toward programmers than general system administration purposes (if that makes sense). Does anyone know of any good documentation on it? I'm especially interested in how to interpret all of the device paths and understanding how the Linux device tree works, how devices relate to their parents, etc.

    Any help is well received!

No info on your sysfs interest .. but recently I found hardinfo which reveals a lot of info and might be useful.

    sudo apt install hardinfo

    hardinfo

And since you are looking for admin tools another suggestion is Stacer.
