Onboard speakers not detected only showing as dummy output but USB/bluetooth headphon

    Hello!

My sound card appears to work correctly as it appears in all the places it should

If I connect USB-C or bluetooth headphones I get sound but Ubuntu cant detect my onboard speakers just appears as Dummy output in sound setting and all I see in Alsamixer is 5 digital outputs.
Computer is HP Chromebook - 15-de0010nr running only Ubuntu 20.04.02.

Im thinking it must be a conf issue as they used to work on ChromeOS and the soundcard appears to work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Unlikely to be a configuration issue.
Chromebooks are not as friendly towards Ubuntu as we would wish.

There are many threads in these forums about sound issues with Chromebooks
