Nvidia driver not working

Hi,

I am new to Ubuntu. I am using Ubuntu 20.04. After an update, my computer would get stuck in the boot screen. I tracked this to the nvidia driver, which i removed promptly. But i want the nvidia driver because it works better. I have tried installing it from Ubuntu's drivers panel 2-3 times, and it does not work every time. I tried nvidia driver version 470.

Secure boot is enabled, if that helps.

Sorry if any information is missing, as this is my first time posting in this forum.

EDIT: I removed my nvidia using apt remove nvidia*, if that might have removed something important

I fixed my issue by manually installing nvidia driver from their website.
