    Can't change resolution from 800*1280 to 1280*800

    Hi, specs:
    Ubuntu MATE 21.04
Processor: Intel Atom x5-Z8350 (with integrated graphics)

    My problem can resume to:

    1. Laptop default resolution at startup is 800*1280 (like portrait mode)
    2. I go to Display>Resolution>[I choose]1280*800>Apply
    2.1 I also tried
    Code:
    xrandr --output DSI-1 --mode 1280*800
    3. Stripes appear on the screen (see image), 15 seconds later it returns to normal.

I know I can set default rotation to right, but this implies that every time the laptop is turned on it will go from 800*1280[no rotation] to 800*1280[right rotation], so the resolution really doesn't change, and it wastes A LOT of time doing that.

    Thank you
