    Ubuntu not recognising laptop devices

    Hi.

I have Ubuntu 21.04 installed on my laptop in dual boot on separate mounts. I updated yesterday, and now a lot of things on my laptop don't work.

My laptop screen doesn't work: it just freezes to the boot screen. However, Ubuntu is still running, as when I connect external monitors, it works fine.

Similar story with the laptop keyboard and touchpad: they don't work. But an externally connected mouse and keyboard work fine.

On top of this, my Intel Wifi 6 AX200 wifi card is not being recognised, so I can't connect to the internet.

While a re-install might fix things, it would be great if there was another fix somehow.

    Thanks,

Note: I have fast boot turned off on Windows.

Have you tried booting into a previous kernel?

    Hi.

Yeah going back to an older kernel did work. Hopefully the next time the kernel will be great.

    Thanks
