    NVIDIA Posts 470 Linux Driver Beta With Better Wayland Support, DLSS + Improved PRIME

    Michael Larabel reports on inclusion of Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling support for Linux gamers, available in the NVIDIA 470.42.01 driver build. He lists the games that are supported through Steam Play and also notes that with the 470 driver there are Wayland support and Vulkan driver extensions improvements.     Ubuntu 21.04 Users Get Major Kernel Security Update, 17 Vulnerabilities Patched

    Marius Nestor tells us Canonical has released a major security update for Ubuntu 21.04 which fixes 17 security vulnerabilities. We are told who discovered the various flaws, given the seven CVEs fixed, a description of the problem and how it could be harmful if not patched, and thus why we should patch if we're using Ubuntu 21.04. We are also told a reboot will be required after patching.
