1: The drive was encrypted in windows. I had turned off the encryption
2: I have made bootable usb using GPT parition scheme
3: I am trying dual boot Windows and Ubuntu
4: I tried the Ubuntu normal installation.
    5: I have downloaded Ubuntu 20.04.2.0 LTS
    6: Secure boot is disabled
    7: SATA set to AHCI

Re: I can't see my HDD while installing Ubuntu!

Not seeing things clearly. By the time I blow up these on my computer, they are fuzzy... Just saying.

The forum moderator's are probably going to ask you not to post photo's directly inside a post (because some members have slow connections and pay for data rates) and to edit your last two posts via adding the photo's as attachments.

I can see it's a HP latop. Which model. Me looking up or knowing the spec's may help me (or anyone else) to be able to help you.

I can see in the BIOS that it is EFI... I cannot make out what kind of drive it is. Is it SATA or SSD?

In post 1, #1, you said the drive was encryted in Windows, then turned off. Was it Winodws Bitlocker? I am assuming maybe a Winows 10 version or Win Server version? Turned off via it's settings or via Powershell Disable-Bitlocker commandlet?

You shrank the volume with Windows Storage Manager right? What does windows say the layout of the drive is? Since you say the LiveCD image is not seeing your disk and Windows does, let's see the info from Windows via PowerShell (ran as Administrator):
    Code:
    Get-Disk | ft -AutoSize
    Get-Disk | Where-Object IsSystem -eq $True | fl
    Get-PhysicalDisk
    Get-Partition
    Get-Volume
That will show all the disk info, partition layouts, how the system disk boots, and any peculiarities.

Please post the results of those within code tags... Such as between [ c o d e ] text inserted here [ / c o d e ] (without the spaces beween thoose tag characters)

If you use the Forum's advanced editor, you can use the paperclip icon to attach screenshots. Post #4, also no larger than 1024x768 if photo

    What model HP?

Is Windows fast start up off. That sets hibernation flag & prevents the Linux NTFS driver from seeing the NTFS partitions.
Windows also turns fast start up back on with updates, so you often have to turn it off again. Updates may also be in background.

Please do not use offsite images for technical help. As oldfred has already asked you, if you must include images in your posts, upload them to the forum with the paperclip icon in the advanced editor. That way you get clickable thumbnails.
