Changes in Livepatch Terms of Service? (Beta testing on free tier?)

Hello, I hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.

I am a free tier user of Canonical's Livepatch service (https://ubuntu.com/security/livepatch) that allows up to 3 machines running Ubuntu server to have free protection.

    Earlier the status was:

    Current status output:

I recently looked at the status message of the service on my VMs and found a rather disturbing line: "This machine beta tests new patches".

I am using the free service because I am a self-funded student. However, the systems using the Livepatch free tier is "mission-critical" to me.

Could someone kindly assist as to when these Terms of Services changed? The current version does not reflect the word "beta": https://ubuntu.com/legal/livepatch-terms-of-service .

PS: I'm a happy and proud user of Canonical's offerings. Please do not take this thread as a negative one.

Same question here.. As i found, the tier named "updates" means "BETA". The production tier called "stable". All free users of UA are just beta testers without clear consent. Read here: https://ubuntu.com/blog/livepatch-20...igation-report
I am very disappointed with this Canonical "offer"
