How do I create an Xfce application menu

Hi,

I use linux mint 20.1. with xfce 4.14

I want to replicate my desktop like this:

but in 2021 this wont work or at least I can't figure it out yet..

I have tried creating diff. custommenu.xml but with no luck.

So can anyone help me creating a custom menu with say Virtualizations menu or System tools menu or a like.

It should be quite simple but I have tried eveything without luck. So can anybody help me out?

Moved to MINT.

Although MINT is based on Ubuntu, it is a distinct distribution not associated with Ubuntu.
