network wifi card

I've noticed that my wifi card in my vivobook x540sa is not working fine sometimes.

Any suggestions to replace it with? Is it true atheros wifi cards are the best for linux distros?

For WI_FI USB dongles are much better than any integrated chips :
They can be placed in strategic places far from the interference generated by the computer.
They can easily be removed in case of suspected hacking.
They can be used on several devices .
They are quite cheap.
