Unable to install Wise Tiger USB wifi adapter

I have freshly installed Ubuntu from windows. I have zero linux experience.
I have a "Wise Tiger model: WT-AC9019 1300M wifi adapter" that I used for wifi on windows. But I have no idea how to install it on Ubuntu.
I have no idea what any of this code means and I feel like I am completely over my head.
I've tried "sudo apt-get install rtl8812bu" but it comes back as "E: unable to locate package rtl8812bu"
That is the name of the instal disk when I put it in.

Let me know if I can provide you with any more information. Look forward to figuring out this Linux system! Thanks!

Edit: when open the cdrom folder and go through the linux folder there is a "install.sh" shell script. Reading the documents they make it sound easy but do not give any information on how to activate the shell script.

Re: Unable to install Wise Tiger USB wifi adapter

The Linux drivers found on the included CDROM are seldom useful. They are often too old or built on some other Linux distribution, such as Fedora or Arch, et al.

Let's start fresh and get some information about the device. With the device inserted, open a terminal Ctrl+Alt+t and run:

    Code:
    lsusb
Post the result and we'll proceed.

It tells me command git cannot be found. And
    Code:
