I just want to thank everyone involved with the development of 21.04. I set up a new desktop machine this morning with the Hippo as a VMWare Wortkstation virtual machine running on a Windows 10 host. Decided to install from the .iso rather than just copy over a preconfigured 20.04 .vxd from the reference machine like I usually do. Very smooth experience...this thing just keeps getting better and better. Congratulations to all.

BTW...all SNAPs on this one. Want to see what all the yelling and screaming is about.

kudos to canonical from me too.

my primary os was the beaver & now it is & will be the fossa but i decided to take the hippo for a test ride just to sample what is new & am pretty impressed.

surprisingly boots up faster than the fossa.

all the apps i need work flawlessly as before or better but no flats / snaps for me i prefer getting all i need from the default repositories.

a few more cool wallpapers would have made me a happier man
