I purchased a USB modem to use for a Dreamcast PC/DC server and it is not being detected when I grep tty. When I run lsusb it shows up as a Conexant Systems (Rockwell), Inc. SoftK56 Data Fax Voice CARP. Can someone help? I am on KUbuntu.

Such devices are out of support for decades.
Ubuntu still has this Dialup Modem How To but probably nothing there will work now.
