The Truly Paranoid use OpenBSD. So before getting bothered with browser security, you should fix the OS first.

Not paranoid, just a pet peeve. Trackers and cockroaches, the never ending battle.

When I go to a site and that site already knows my likes I can hear the cockroaches laughing

Strict settings, additional security, containers, VPN and still being tracked.

I do think that dragonfly41 has a point. Its all in the browser that is being use. Perhaps instead of a firefox fix I should be looking for a more secure browser to use for my sensitive business and just let my everyday business be tracked.

    Re: Firefox and trackers

Thanks again dragonfly41, but to be honest that's just deeper than I want to go.

I am becoming more convince that a ready built secure browser (like Brave) is the way to go. There seems to be several to choose from and I will probably start a new thread on that at a later date.

That way FF can remain as is and used as my daily driver.

Thanks for all the reply's and until next thread
