can not boot kubuntu on mini mac

Hello!
I have installed kubuntu on a mini mac from the year 2012 (the last apple update left it K.O.). I had a wifi connection problem and tried to uninstall some things. Right now it can't boot, I can't access the grub menu to start with an older kernel version. I have tried pressing shift, F10 ... but nothing. Can anyone help?

Well, considering you just installed, why not install again?
And then NOT "uninstall some things" because of the WiFi. If you're having problems ask here first.

Well, i did n't install kubuntu just just the day before, but 2 months ago, and have some data i would like to keep. For sure, i'd better asked before unisntall anything, we say in our country "everybody knows it, after seen it"

That being the case then I suggest you boot a live session, backup your personal files and then reinstall.

Yes, i think there is no more option, but it is incredible to me, couldn't get into the grub menu with a key combination... Thank you anyway
