    Update BIOS

I thought about seeing if updating my BIOS.

(I read that you can brick a computer if the process in interrupted.)

    This is my BIOS info.

    Base Board Information (Mother board)
    Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
    Product Name: F2A68HM-H

    BIOS Information
    Vendor: American Megatrends Inc.
    Version: FB
    Release Date: 04/22/2015

I found the BIOS updates here.

    https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherbo...upport-dl-bios

My current bios is dated 4/22/15.

But I only see a Beta one and it is only a couple of months newer.

I do have a UPS with a 30 minute run time.

    Re: Update BIOS

Although it is usually recommended to update the motherboard's firmware, BIOS or UEFI (FYI, UEFI in this case, regardless of the manufacturer's terminology), the F2c update you mentioned correctly as "beta" seems to have been released exclusively for adding support to a new CPU/APU. So, unless you're having issues the update isn't justified, in my opinion, and even if you are this specific update likely won't address those issues.
