We'd never actually do that, of course! What eggs we don't eat (and that is a lot!) we give away. It costs us very little to keep a lot of chickens, which we free range. We get more eggs than we could possibly eat and others can make use of them.
That's great that you give away the extra eggs.
We know a lady that sells eggs and we get several dozen at a time because we love eggs we also get homemade butter that she makes.

I had forgotten about popcorn. The microwave is ideal for that.
We make popcorn using a big old cast iron skillet with a Pyrex lid like we did when we were kids and I still love watching the sparks from sliding the skillet across the stove grates.

I spent many a summer as a country bumpkin on my uncle's farm as a kid and learned all kinds of neat things about farming although being a kid at the time really didn't appreciate being there however as an adult I realized how fortunate I was to have spent the summers on the farm.
