    Gimp questions

I would like to install a version 17 or earlier of Gimp (2.10.17)
Is there a Sudo command to do so? So that I can easily delete/purge it later (when the next stable version comes out).
I don't want to mess with flatpak.

you can use a PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuhandboo...ve/ubuntu/gimp

version is 2.10.22 which i think should be the same only with bugs fixed.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla

    Re: Gimp questions

Yea, I'm gonna have to go back to an earlier version than 2.10.6, as the bug I'm having problems with is still in the lastest stable version, see: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/2253

Or, install the beta version of Gimp via flatpak. How do I add flatpak to Ubuntu software (perhaps as a plug in?) I'm running Unity desktop on Ubuntu 20.04 lts
