    18.04 server: long boot delays

I'm getting long boot delays on a fresh 18.04 LTS server install, fully upgraded, and there's nothing in dmesg (or logged on console) to say what's happening.

can anyone either tell me what to fix / where to look (if they've seen this before) or how to turn on detailed boot logging.

Re: 18.04 server: long boot delays

Is there no scope to use 20.04?

Seems like the SCSI controller is taking a while to come online.
