i bought xcom in the summer. haven't tried it yet as i had no time. i mostly just play a round of CS:GO and that's it. lately (to unwind a bit after stressfull work) i am replaying Stalker Clear Sky instead. about 30min-60 min a day.
i don't think xcom2 would run on my potato. i heard it is really good.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla
It does requiring a machine with some horse power and let alone some space on the SSD. Around ~64 GB download.
My specs are;
| AMD Ryzen 1700x 3.4 GHz | ASUS PRIME X370-A | 32 GB 2400 Mhz DDR4 |
| ASUS Nvidia 1070 8 GB | SSD 1000 GB M.2 |
The game can run with all the settings set to the highest.
