Does anyone know if Kubuntu's installer is planned to have ZFS support, like regular Ubuntu? Tried searching their website, mailing list, forums, but I can't find any talk on this.

That's about Ubuntu, I'm talking about Kubuntu with a K
Its the same OS underneath, just a different default desktop interface. The underlying kernel, services and so on are 100% different.
It's like changing the wallpaper on a Windows system then asking for different assistance to the vanilla Windows because your wallpaper is different and that somehow affects the OS underneath
Ermmmm, it's about the installer, my young padawan. Those are completely different.

Can you not just do a net install then on first bootCode:sudo apt install kubuntu-desktop

Can you install on an encrypted ZFS root with a netinstall? I thought only the Ubuntu gui installer could, but maybe I'm wrong!
