How are you installing it?
When installing unpackaged software, start by reading the README and INSTALL files.
So if you installed it from a deb or whatever, just run it in a console and look at the error messages. There may be a missing library or ten.
These are the install instructions from the Dissenter download page
Did you use the command line? Or is it the software installer that does nothing?Optimally, let your browser open the deb file with the software installer, and click install. Otherwise, download the package file and install it by running sudo dpkg -i dissenter-browser_1.5.114_amd64.deb

It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.

I think my problem is that I have a 32 bit kernel.
I came across a site that say to run this sudo dpkg --add-architecture amd64 to fix that problem. Can anyone verify this or offer another option?
