    Signal messeges don't appear after the installation of the linux version.

    hi
    i've just installed it earlier.
    i've tried to do the import thing the the preferences too.
    but still nothing appears and no contacts appear when searching.

    here is a screenshot
    what could that be?

    and yes. i've made the link between it and my phone!

    after rebooting i get the list of signal contacts but cant search for any kind of contact and can't see sms conversations

    Note that the problem may be on the Signal end. Their servers are a bit overloaded nowadays, what with everyone fleeing from Wassup.

    Signal for desktop will only allow you to see other Signal users - although you can use it for SMS on your phone, you will not be able to message anyone from the desktop app who is not a Signal user. Makes it unusable for me.
