    The Linux Command Line

The great thing about the Linux command line for me is that if I make a mistake, it just says "no" and lets me figure out what I did wrong.
The horrible thing about the Linux command line for me is that if I make a mistake, it just says "no" AND LETS -->ME<-- FIGURE OUT WHAT I DID WRONG!!!!

Thank God for Ubuntu Forums. Really, I mean that.

If I know the first few letters of the command I type those with a <tab> and it shows possible commands.

yeah, but what do those possibilities do?

Also what seemed strange to me is that when command works you get no feedback. nothing about what was done, what just happened. just cursor in the next line. well except apt. apt reports it all quite well.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla
