What is a good alternative to firefox and chrome?

I am looking forward to switching from FireFox and I don't want to go back to Chrome. I know there is Brave in windows and I am looking forward to a security-centric browser like that. Is there anything like that in the software store that you guys would recommend?

Vivaldi - like Brave, it is based on Chrome.

I have installed brave on several Ubuntu computers and it runs fine.

Or run firefox in a constrained environment.

The issue with using alternate browsers is that 1% edge cases that don't work. I do so much filtering already that breaking for blocked subnets, blocked URLs and not allowing javascrpt are already common. For really sketchy sites, I use Dillo

firejail --private dlllo
