I have Ubuntu 20.04 and Linux Mint 18.3 running on the same box but different drives. I am printing to a HP OfficejetPro 8610 multifunction printer. The Ubuntu was printing but suddenly stopped.ted it with a usb cable to have wireless network and wired to printer but Ubuntu still won't print. The Linux mint prints either way. Is there something different in ubuntu 20.04? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I do not have a printer ethernet or WiFi. So I am not speaking from experience. What happens when you open system settings>Printers tab? Does the printer show in the panel. Can you click Add a Printer? Have you tried removing the printer and then adding it again?

The printer shows in settings. I have not tried to remove and add printer.
