    Call for nominations for the Local Communities Council

    Walter Lapchynski (wxl) writes to update the activity of the Community Council to revitalize our LoCo communities project. As a result of insufficient nominations a Local Communities Research Committee is to be formed.

    First Hirsute Hippo test rebuild (and GCC related test rebuilds)

    Matthias Klose reminds us the first test "rebuild of the Hirsute Hippo was started December 20, 2020 for all architectures" with that build now almost finished. We are provided results, with a request to please help fix any remaining build failures.

    New Ubuntu Linux Kernel Security Updates Fix 14 Vulnerabilities, Patch Now

    Marius Nestor alerts us to updated kernel patches for supported releases of Ubuntu. We are provided with the CVEs, which releases are impacted by them with the related patches. All users of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS & Ubuntu 20.10 are advised to patch (update) their systems as soon as possible, and reboot.

    NVIDIA 460.32.03 Linux Driver Released With Official Vulkan Ray-Tracing
