Wireless printer connection

I just installed Ubuntu20.04.1 LTS on my sister's PC (an old HP Pavillion 17). It seems to work OK (but maybe still a little slower than expected) but now I have a challenge:
How do I setup her wireless printer / scanner (a Cannon Pixma TS5050) to make it work with Ubuntu?

I have tried to follow "https://tutorialforlinux.com/2018/10/27/how-to-install-canon-pixma-ts5050-on-ubuntu-18-10-cosmic-linux-step-by-step/" (even though it is for an older version of Ubuntu) but it ends here:

Did you already download the drivers from the Canon website?

Looks like the install instructions assume you downloaded the drivers already.

I had a similar challenge with a Brother printer (had to get a different set of drivers from the Brother site).
