Wifi Adapter

I've been using Ubuntu for about 5 years. I've now upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04.2 :TS. I have this USB WiFi Adapter 1750Mbps,USB 3.0 Wireless Network WiFi Dongle with Dual 5dBi Antenna, 802.11ac Dual Band 2.4GHz/5.8GHz that is plug and play on Windows 10 Pro, but I can't get it going on Ubuntu. It came with a disk that has a folder called :LINUX". In the folder are two other folders and a file called install.sh . I take it I just change directly to the disc and write in terminal, sudo ./install.sh ?

Chances are that the drivers on the disk are made for an ancient kernel

Hey all, I know this thread is Solved, but I do a lot of reinstalls and now I get this. Any solutions?

Shane, they changed the code on the github, try

sudo make dkms_install

Never mind, I solved it with this.

sudo make dkms_install
