Wifi connects during install but not after.

I am trying to install Ubuntu 20.04LTS on a Microsoft Surface Book laptop. During the installation process, the computer asks for the wifi information and appears to connect without issue. After the installation and restart, I can still see my wifi network, but the machine continually asks for the wifi password, but never connects. All of my other devices in the home connect and work fine on my wifi network. I've done quite a bit of searching and tinkering on this, and I still can't resolve the issue. Any advice is appreciated.

Update: SOLVED! After some more digging I discovered there is a custom Kernel for the surface book with Ubuntu, made by Jake Day. Installed the new kernel and she's working perfectly.

Update: I tried re inserting my installation media, and choosing "try Ubuntu" instead of installation, in this mode, the wifi works fine and I can navigate to web pages.

Why on earth would wifi stop working properly ONLY in the "installed" version of Ubuntu?
