Upload a .png image to a post

Geez, I have forgotten how to load an image to a post, and cannot figure out how to do it. I looked at the File Upload Manager and could not figure that out either. Could not even see how to delete past images use. For sure, I do not want to go the URL route which is all that seems available?

Please, what is simplest way to include a Desktop image in my post?

Moved to Forum Feedback & Help.

Select the paperclip symbol in the reply box tools and then navigate to the image you want to upload with the add files option .

o.k., I am dense. I see the paper clip at the top of where I am typing now, but selecting it goes to File Upload Manager; you do not mention File Upload Manager. So where is reply box tools located? You make it sound simple which is what I am looking for.

[Edit] Well, I played with File Upload Manager,(FUP) really not grasping exactly how it works, and got my image to load in different post. However, if that is the path you meant, ie, using FUP, I really am not sure how one works with it. For instance, I could not figure out how to select and remove previous "uploaded" entries.

[Edit 2], now I believe I see what you meant to select paper clip in Reply to Message Tools (reply box tools). So am I correct then that the File Upload Manager must be used, there is not an easier path to upload an image?

This the preferred method to upload thumbnail images. Please don't use large images or offsite url's in the support areas out of respect for members bandwidth and data limits. Many people visit the forum with phones or tablets.
