I'm afraid I still don't know what you are trying to achieve.
Some time back I suggested trying Grub Customiser to gain some forensic insights
into this confusing world but you asked why? Below answers why.

I would suggest to stop participating in a discussion if you do not get what it is about.
There is NOTHING shameful to just quit.

After few years using Linux I have discovered that there is always basic . original article.
Since Linux is "open source" then there are many follow-up articles.
Wast majority of "copies" are good, refining the original.
( The "bad" ones, not adding more "meat and potatoes" are usually CLI converted to GUI ).

Therefore - there is nothing wrong using your GUI tool, but it does NOT add to what I already know.
It is just the proverbial "there is more than one way to skin a cat".

If Boot-Repair is mentioning BIOS, you probably ran it from a BIOS boot.
Please reboot in UEFI boot mode, add Boot-Repair, and post link, so we can review it.

I really want to see which Ubuntu you are using to boot and then which you are booting into.
If you do not boot first entry, then all your grub updates do not modify the grub used to boot.
