I saw an article on my phone from OMG! Ububtu. They say Microsoft edge is now available for ubuntu.Its still in the early development stages and you can read more and even find the download at

I've been burned by MSFT too many times to bother trusting them for at least another 20 yrs, assuming good behavior during the entire time.
Unfortunately, that clock is constantly being reset by some sort of negative corporate choice inflicted onto clients and potential customers. There is a long history of FUD that did terrible harm to many, many, other competing companies. There are very few things that normal people can do, except never give them money or use their stuff if it can be avoided.

I don't use Edge as default when using Win 10, but if you have used it already there's nothing to see. It is available on the Edge insiders page for the truly curious.

Edge on 20.10 = Perfectly, Fastest browser I have used thus far. I've seen no sign of "unstable".

After four days of testing.
Its fast, pretty, and stable. Most likely ok for new Users tapering off of Windows. Otherwise apt-get purge microsoft-edge*.
