System freezing when using multimedia websites

I just installed Lubuntu 20.04 that I am using with KDE-Plasma (but the problem remains if I use Mate). My computer often freezes when surfing the internet, in particular when I use

    Facebook
Newspapers (so websites with interactive content)
last time it froze when doing shopping on a website...

This happens when am using Brave, Chrome and Mozilla Firefox so I am guessing it's a system problem, not related to the browser...
    what to do?
    thank you

Is it running out of RAM? Often those website you have listed are pretty badly programmed and use massive amounts of RAM. Facebook runs terribly for me too.

On Firefox, try adding uBlock ad blocker. Please give us some specs on your equipment.

If you're still using this https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2200822 you really can't expect it work for those websites.
