disabling work-spaces and adding a 'show desktop' button

    hi

can i disable the workspaces shortcut when scrolling with the middle mouse button in the left bottom corner of the screen in unity?

is there a simple way to create a 'show desktop' button in the panel to click upon instead of the keyboard shortcut??

    thank you in advance!!

    In Unity you say?

Well, if I remember correctly - it was a long time ago - both could be enabled/disabled in settings.

That's not Unity, that are the system settings of Gnome.

In Gnome you use Gnome Tweaks for that.

For a panel button, try this Gnome Shell Extension. The comment there indicates it works in Ubuntu 20.04.

If you don't really need a button, Super Key + Page Down will also show the Desktop.

    EDIT:
