Cool Re: Linux Driver for the RealTek RTL8812BU and RTL8822BU Chipsets

Hi! I'm running Linux Mint 18.3 on a Lenovo laptop with an Intel wireless adapter built-in. I believe I saw this driver update get installed, the other day. What's weird is after that driver update, the connection speed of the integrated adapter went from 65Mbps to 135Mbps. Anyway, in an attempt to get my laptop connected at 5Ghz, I purchased two USB adpaters, one by TRENDNet and one by TP-Link. I don't have the model numbers now, but I'll post them shortly. I would totally love to get these working with my laptop, if possible.

    Peace...

Thanks for splitting the post out, but I'm not seeking any help with the adapters I mentioned on Mint. I mentioned that as background for information I was about to supply, when I found the thread had been split.

    So,I'll mark this as resolved.

    Thanks!
